No one is a monotone..
There is a marathi play called 'To mi navhech' (Thats not me), its about a supposed conman who has assumed mutiple identities and duped scores of people. Well this post is not about that, but I recently watched a bit of it and something quite different struck me while speaking with Rajneesh.
I feel all of us have very different people in us. And there would be multiple occasions when we would all say 'thats not me' and some people around us might feel conned or more politely disillusioned. Well thats not at all our intension! It just so happens that we are, all of us, very different with different people. We could be a prankster for some, a cribber to some, a quite listener to others, a mature level headed friend to a few and an absolute kid with a select bunch. What surprises me is that none of those personalities are fake, its all you, in your element! The funny thing is, people are forming opinions and putting you into just one of the categories even when you dont know and they refuse to allocate multiple tags to one person (I see why and do the same myself). It seems against logic to label someone as a level headed composed person and an immature brat in the same breath, whereas the truth is, it very well could be!
Now there could be people who are more narrow in their spectrum than others, but in principle, I think no one is a monotone!

Thank God! This totally justifies why I have friends who I connect with so well, though they are so vastly different from each other :)
You are perfectly entitled to it... This is for the newer (non-existent) post...
